The members of LCSAR were offered the opportunity to tell us about their self-owned businesses or hobbies of which others might not be aware. These were the responses we received. This may become a yearly feature, so we can stay updated on all the interesting things our colleagues are doing. These are in the order received.
Mike Fink: I routinely perform my own bicycle maintenance and have worked on other people’s bikes with a reasonable amount of success for about 5 years, now. I enjoy the work and am willing to offer my services to team members at no cost for labor---or at least until I am famous---as time permits. I am also willing to provide instruction for the do-it-yourselfers.
Jim Mines says: My profession is I’m a cop, but I don’t think people would want to call me for that. Sooo, my family owns a gift store in Wyoming, but since I doubt people would drive there we also have a web site:www.cloudninegiftsandgiftbaskets.com (yes, I know, it is veeeeerry long!) We ship nice gifts and gift baskets all over North America. The baskets are custom-made for each order and the prices are pretty reasonable. We’ll even make up a basket with whatever you want in it. It’s pretty neat!
Sarah Babbitt: Artist----Oils and watercolors, screens, one-of-a-kind books, blank books and custom-made blank books (such as wedding guest books.)
